KONGOS performed with
The Joy Formidable last night at the
Regency Ballroom to an enthusiastic crowd that unfortunately, only filled about a third of the venue. Clearly, the word still needs to spread about this 4-piece band of South African-born brothers!

There's a good chance you've already heard the quartet's first hit single, "Come with Me Now," from their 2011 album,
Lunatic, which has been featured within trailers for "The Expendables 3," the video game "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!," and the upcoming Amazon exclusive, "The Grand Tour."

And this tour finds the band supporting their most recent release,
Egomaniac, which was just released in June of this year; and is just as catchy as
Lunatic. In terms of their live show, they put on nearly a two-hour show that was just solid. Take a look at the full set list below.
In terms of the opening band, The Joy Formidable, a Welsh post-punk pop trio, was a great match for KONGOS and was just as enjoyable.

If either of these bands come to your city, be sure to make the time to catch their live show! You'll be glad you did!
